As a senior product designer at Scrawlr, I'm part of a team that has been imagining a whole new way to interact with content and other users on the web – it's called Scrawlr, the overlay for the internet. Currently in beta, Scrawlr is a social media platform that offers new tools that aim to remove the disintermediation between content on the internet and the places that that content is discussed. In addition to a web platform, we've built a broswer extension that lets you evaluate, tag, vote on, annotate, and comment on any page or piece of content on the web – as well as see what others on Scrawlr are saying too.
